McMun 2009...

has officially started. Opening ceremonies were last night and all of us were completely exhausted. We explored a little bit last night, but mostly stayed out long enough to have dinner and to find Linn a coat. (She left hers on the plane, I'm going to blame the Black Widow.) We also experienced the joy of poutine that Joe has been going on and on about.

Oh, yeah, and to have a couple of snowball fights while walking down the street. We probably got some weird looks, but oh well.

Session started this morning at 9:00 am (or 9:15 am or 9:30 am, depending on what group you are in). I'm in the Organization of the Islamic Conference and we are currently talking about "Reconciling Globalization with Islamic Traditions."

I just had a mintue during an unmoderated caucus (sp?) to let you know how it's going! Gotta get back to session!
